Audio Air Mastering is located in Copenhagen, Denmark and is run by Master Engineer Kim Varde.
I have been working with sound production for many years, as a technician, composer and producer.
I am a musician myself, and have been playing bass for more than 25 years with drums and percussion as my second instruments.
For quite some time I have been mastering music in a great sounding room on quality equipment.
I have a good feeling and confidence about how different styles of music translate on my monitor system.
I`m open toward all kinds of music from mainstream pop to avant-garde jazz, including rock, classical, hip hop, dance and experimental electronic music.
As a Master Engineer I`m influenced of all great recordings made the last 50 years, and specially the analog age with tape recorders, great sounding microphones and super skilled technicians in the 50`s and 60`s can give much inspiration. Todays computer based music
productions is what I am grown up with and it`s unlimited possibilities is fantastic.
